Julie heads up the team at HR Solutions and has a strong HR background in manufacturing, service industries, not for profit and education sectors. Julie is a HR Generalist and enjoys working with owner managers to get the best out of their HR structure and people employment practice. She is results driven and tenacious in finding solutions to enable business success through people. Her spare time is spent running round the Surrey and Berkshire countryside training for half marathons to raise money for charity, as well as days out and holidays with her husband and daughter and their two mischievous gun dogs, Rio and Louis.
Louise, like most of our team, is a HR generalist, but tends to specialise in employment law, as she is a lay member of Employment Tribunals and is a trained workplace mediator. Her approach with clients is flexible, pragmatic and practical, with a sharp eye on commercial awareness and sensitivity to HR impact on the bottom line. As well as being great fun to work with, she is owner, trainer, walker and “mum” to two loveable dogs called Bo and Meg and can be seen most weekends wandering South Oxfordshire with her two rascals.
Carol is our learning and development specialist, exceptionally competent in the field of Psychometric Profiling. With over 25 years generalist HR experience, Carol now focuses on delivering learning and coaching programmes to improve individual, team and overall business performance. Carol is trained in Saville & Holdsworth, Saville Consulting, ERAS, Belbin and a host of recognized profiling systems and is a member of the British Psychological Society. Carol’s other specialism is taking holidays (lots of them!) as well as enjoying her lovely garden and assisting in the running of the Masters section of a famous swimming club.
Sue combines her vast general manager background with her extensive HR experience to support SME’s through the full range of employment issues. Sue supports professional services companies to manufacturing and construction as well as the not for profit and education sectors, ensuring businesses are aware of the risks involved, before any action is taken. Sue is a great socialiser and enjoys fine wine and dining with friends at every opportunity.
Laura is a down to earth HR professional with over 25 years experience spanning a broad spectrum of industries and customers both Blue Chip and SME. Laura has tremendous Commercial experience, which, balanced with her HR expertise, results in clear, business focused HR advice and guidance across an employee’s life-cycle with a business. Laura is a keen fitness fan and in her spare time, travels the world with her husband, who by the way, does the best BBQ’s this side of the Watford Gap!
Nicki assists business owners pragmatically and proactively in HR and employment relations in a clear, functional and easily understood way. Having dealt with trade unions for several years and been involved with many business transfers and acquisitions, Nicki understands how to get to the route of a problem and find workable solutions to resolve the issues that are acceptable to all parties. Nicki is a keen sailor, along with her husband and is now passing on her sailing skills to her gorgeous daughter, Hannah.
